-
How do I reset my Goal Zero Yeti power station?
To perform a soft reset, press and hold the 'Units' and 'Info' buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. This can resolve issues where the unit is not responding or exhibiting odd behavior, without resetting the watt-hour counter unless the Units button is held specifically for that purpose.
-
Should I keep my Goal Zero Yeti plugged in when not in use?
Yes. It is recommended to keep your Yeti plugged into a power source (wall outlet or solar) whenever possible. This maintains battery health and ensures the unit is fully charged and ready for use when you need it.
-
Can I chain multiple solar panels together?
Yes, you can chain multiple Goal Zero solar panels to reduce recharge times. Ensure the panels utilize the same voltage to combine inputs correctly. Note that some power stations have a maximum input voltage (e.g., 50V for Yeti Lithium) that must not be exceeded.
-
Where can I find the serial number on my product?
Serial numbers are typically located on the bottom or back of the unit. You will need this number when contacting support or registering your product for warranty.
-
Are Goal Zero solar panels waterproof?
Most Goal Zero panels like the Nomad and Boulder series are weatherproof and designed to withstand rain and snow, but they are not submersible. Flex panels are weather-resistant but should not be submerged. Always keep the junction boxes and connectors as dry as possible.
