- Environmentally Friendly Refrigerants: Utilizes natural refrigerants such as isobutane (R600a) and propane (R290), which are substances found in nature and are environmentally conscious.
- Idizayini yokonga isikhala: Designed for flush installation against walls, allowing the top surface to be used as a preparation space.
- Easy Maintenance Exterior: Features fluorine-coated stainless steel, which is resistant to scratches and easy to clean.
- Hygienic Door Handle: The door handle design prevents water droplets or debris from the top of the door from entering the storage bin, enhancing hygiene.
- Front-Accessible Condenser Filter: The condenser filter can be easily removed for cleaning without detaching the front panel, simplifying maintenance.
- Sula Ukuboniswa Kwedijithali: A digital display panel shows inspection lamps and 2-digit error codes to notify users of product abnormalities. A filter lamp also indicates the optimal timing for filter cleaning.
- High-Purity Ice Production: The cell system with jet spray method produces ice by spraying water from below into a -25°C freezing chamber. By gradually freezing only H2O while circulating water, impurities are nearly 100% removed, resulting in transparent and delicious ice.
- Hygienic Cold Retention Control: The ice-making chamber is controlled at a low temperature, circulating cold air throughout to maintain a more hygienic ice-making environment.

3. Ukusetha nokufakwa
The Hoshizaki IM-55P ice maker requires proper installation to ensure optimal performance and safety. Please note that installation and setup services are not included with the product purchase. It is recommended to arrange for installation by a qualified construction company or technician in advance.
3.1 Izidingo Zesizinda
Before installation, ensure the following utilities are available at the chosen location:
- Ukuhlinzekwa kwamanzi: A water pipe with an R1/2 stop valve.
- Ukuthuthwa kwamanzi: A 40A drain pipe. Ensure the drain pipe has an adequate gradient for proper water flow.
- Ukunikezwa kwamandla kagesi: A dedicated 100V electrical outlet.
For piping connections, a flexible pipe for the water supply is required. A drain hose is included with the unit.

3.2 Dimensions and Clearance
The external dimensions of the unit are approximately 630mm (width) x 525mm (depth) x 800mm (height). Ensure sufficient clearance around the unit for ventilation and maintenance access, especially for the front-accessible condenser filter.

4. Ukusebenza
The Hoshizaki IM-55P is an automatic ice maker designed for continuous operation. Once properly installed and connected to power and water, the unit will automatically begin the ice production cycle.
4.1 Inqubo Yokwenza Iqhwa
The ice maker utilizes a cell system with a jet spray method. Water is sprayed from below into a freezing chamber maintained at -25°C. As water circulates, only pure H2O gradually freezes onto the evaporator, forming clear, hard cube ice. Impurities are flushed away, ensuring high-quality ice.
4.2 Ice Storage
Once formed, the ice cubes are automatically released into the integrated storage bin. The bin has a capacity of approximately 27kg (or about 14kg when considering natural drop).
5. Isondlo
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and efficient operation of your Hoshizaki IM-55P ice maker. Follow these guidelines to keep your unit in optimal condition.
5.1 Condenser Filter Cleaning
The condenser filter should be cleaned regularly to prevent dust and debris buildup, which can reduce efficiency. The unit features a convenient front-accessible design, allowing the filter to be removed and cleaned without disassembling the front panel. A dedicated filter lamp on the digital display will illuminate to remind you when cleaning is due.
5.2 Ukuhlanza Ingaphandle
The fluorine-coated stainless steel exterior is designed to be scratch-resistant and easy to clean. Wipe down the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the finish.
5.3 Drain Trap
The antibacterial drain trap helps prevent insect intrusion and odors. Periodically inspect and clean the drain trap to ensure it functions correctly and maintains hygiene.

8.1 Iwaranti yomkhiqizi

8.2 Initial Defects
For initial defects reported within Izinsuku ezingu-7 zokulethwa, the product will be exchanged according to manufacturer regulations. Initial defects are defined as damage to the product body (e.g., scratches, dents) or operational malfunctions. Damage to the outer packaging alone is not considered an initial defect.
Okubalulekile:
- No returns or refunds are offered for initial defects; only exchanges.
- The exchange is for curbside delivery only. Removal of the faulty unit, installation of the new unit, or any associated construction work are not included.
- Issues reported after 7 days from delivery will not be recognized as initial defects.
9. Important Delivery Information
Please read the following delivery terms carefully before purchase:
- Curbside Delivery Only: This product is a heavy item and will be delivered curbside. The delivery driver cannot assist with carrying the item indoors or with installation. Please arrange for personnel to handle unloading and transport into your premises.
- Ishejuli yokulethwa: Deliveries are generally made on weekdays only. Weekend and holiday deliveries are not available. Deliveries are not possible after 5 PM on weekdays.
- No Time Specification: Specific delivery times cannot be designated.
- Delivery Vehicle: Delivery will be made by a 2-ton truck or larger.
- Imikhawulo yokulethwa: Delivery may not be possible to locations with extremely narrow roads, mountainous areas, or remote islands in any prefecture. In such cases, you may be required to pick up the item from the nearest transport company branch, or additional charter fees may apply.
- Recipient Name: Delivery requires a corporate name (company name, store name, trade name). Deliveries to individual residential names are not possible.
