3. Winding the Bobbin (Using Portable Bobbin Winder)
The SINGER Portable Bobbin Winder allows you to wind bobbins independently of your sewing machine.
- Connect the power adapter to the bobbin winder and plug it into an electrical outlet.
- Place a spool of thread onto the spool pin of the winder.

4. Inserting the Bobbin (Sewing Machine)
- Raise the needle to its highest position by turning the handwheel towards you.

To use the automatic needle threader:

Operating the Sewing Machine
1. Selecting a Stitch
- Turn the Pattern Selector Dial to choose one of the 23 built-in stitches.
- Refer to the stitch chart on the machine for recommended stitch length and width settings.
2. Adjusting Stitch Length and Width
- Ubude Bomthungo: Use the Stitch Length Dial to adjust the length. Shorter lengths for stronger seams, longer lengths for basting or gathering.

3. Sewing Basics
- Place fabric under the presser foot.

4. One-Step Buttonhole

- Place the button you are using into the buttonhole foot's gauge to automatically set the buttonhole size.
- Position your fabric and lower the presser foot.
