- Connect the cold water inlet (blue port) to your cold water supply line.
- Connect the hot water outlet (red port) to your hot water faucet or fixture.
- Open the hot water faucet at the fixture to allow air to escape from the tank as it fills with water.
- Once water flows steadily from the hot water faucet, close the faucet. Check all connections for leaks.
