- Pour dry kibble into the container. The feeder has a 4L capacity and accepts kibble pieces up to 4/5-inch (2 cm) in diameter.
- Close the lid securely to keep food fresh.

The feeder allows you to schedule up to 4 meals per day. The default setting is two meals daily at 8 AM and 8 PM, each dispensing 3 portions (1.2 cups total).
- Cindezela inkinobho M button to enter meal programming mode. The meal number (e.g., "1") will flash.
- Sebenzisa i- Phezulu/Phansi arrows to select the meal you wish to program (1-4).
- Cindezela M again to set the meal time. The hour will flash. Adjust with Phezulu/Phansi imicibisholo.
- Cindezela M to move to minutes and adjust.
- Ngemva kokusetha isikhathi, cindezela P to set the portion size for this meal. The portion number will flash.
- Sebenzisa i- Phezulu/Phansi arrows to adjust the portion size. Each portion is approximately 1/5 cup. You can schedule from 1 to 18 portions (1/5 to 3.6 cups).
- Repeat steps 2-6 for additional meals.

You can record a custom voice message (up to 10 seconds) that will play before each meal to call your pet.
