4. Ukusetha nokufakwa
Proper installation is crucial for the pump's performance and longevity. Consult a qualified plumber or electrician if you are unsure about any steps.
4.1 Ukubekwa
- Place the pump on a flat, stable surface near the sanitary fixtures it will serve.
- Ensure sufficient space for ventilation and access for maintenance.
- The pump should be installed in a dry, frost-free environment.
4.2 Connecting Inlets
- Connect the wastewater outlets from your sink, shower, bathtub, or toilet to the Ø 40 mm inlets on the pump using the provided connection pipes and clamps.
- Ensure all connections are secure and watertight. Use the inlet caps for any unused inlets.
4.3 Discharge Pipe Connection
- Connect the pump's discharge outlet (23/28 mm) to your main drainage system.
- Install the non-return valve on the discharge pipe to prevent backflow.
- Ensure the discharge pipe has a continuous upward slope to the main drain, or follows the recommended vertical and horizontal discharge limits.

- Ensure the electrical circuit is protected by a residual current device (RCD) for safety.

The XPOtool Compact 3-in-1 Lifting Pump operates automatically. When wastewater enters the pump, a pressure switch activates the motor, and the macerator grinds any solids before the pump discharges the liquid.
- Once installed and connected, the pump is ready for operation.
- Ensure all connected sanitary fixtures are functioning correctly.
- The pump will activate automatically when wastewater reaches a certain level inside the unit.
- The pump will stop automatically once the wastewater has been discharged.
