5. Setha

5.1 Ukuqaqa nokubeka

  1. Susa ngokucophelela iphrinta nazo zonke izesekeli ephaketheni.
  2. Beka iphrinta endaweni ezinzile, eqondile endaweni enomoya omuhle, kude nokukhanya kwelanga okuqondile kanye nemithombo yokushisa.
  3. Remove any protective films or packaging materials from the printer components.

5.2 Ukwakhiwa Kokulinganisa Ipuleti

Accurate leveling of the build plate is crucial for successful prints.

  1. Ensure the resin vat is empty and clean.
  2. Loosen the four screws on the build plate.
  3. Place a leveling paper (or a standard A4 paper) on the LCD screen.
  4. Lower the build plate until it firmly presses against the leveling paper.
  5. Gently press down on the build plate to ensure it is flat against the screen, then tighten the four screws.
  6. Raise the build plate slightly and remove the leveling paper.
  7. Perform a Z-axis calibration if prompted by the printer's interface.

5.3 Installing the Resin Vat and Anti-Scratch Film

  1. Carefully place the clean resin vat onto the printer's platform, ensuring it is securely seated.
  2. If not pre-installed, apply the anti-scratch film to the LCD screen according to the instructions provided with the film. This protects the screen from resin spills.

6. Iziqondiso Zokusebenza

6.1 Preparing Your 3D Model (Slicing)

The Photon Mono X2 is compatible with various slicing software, including Anycubic Photon Workshop, CHITUBOX, and Lychee. Ensure you use the correct printer profile for the Photon Mono X2.

  1. Import your 3D model (e.g., .STL, .OBJ) into your chosen slicing software.
  2. Orient and position the model on the virtual build plate.
  3. Add supports as necessary to prevent print failures.
  4. Set print parameters (layer height, exposure time, bottom layer count, etc.) according to your resin type and desired print quality. Refer to your resin manufacturer's recommendations.
  5. Sika imodeli bese ulondoloza umphumela file (typically .pmx2 format) to a USB drive.

6.2 Ukuqala Ukuphrinta

  1. Ensure the build plate is clean and securely attached.
  2. Thela i-resin ebhodweni le-resin, uqinisekise ukuthi ayidluli umugqa wokugcwalisa ophezulu.
  3. Insert the USB drive containing your sliced file echwebeni le-USB lephrinta.
  4. Place the UV-protective cover over the printer.
  5. On the printer's touchscreen, navigate to the "Print" menu, select your file, and confirm to start printing.
  6. Monitor the initial layers to ensure proper adhesion to the build plate.

6.3 Post-Processing

  1. Once printing is complete, carefully remove the build plate from the printer.
  2. Using the provided scraper, carefully detach the printed model from the build plate.
  3. Wash the model in isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or a suitable resin cleaner to remove uncured resin.
  4. Cure the model under UV light (e.g., in a curing station or direct sunlight) until fully hardened.
  5. Remove supports and perform any necessary finishing work.
