- Ukusetshenziswa Kokuqala (Ukushiswa): Before first use, it is recommended to run the "Bake" program (Program 13) for 10 minutes without any ingredients. This helps to burn off any manufacturing residues and odors. Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning.
Imiyalelo yokusebenza
Follow these steps to bake a loaf of bread using your Amazon Basics Bread Maker:
1. Ukwengeza Izithako:
- Open the lid and remove the bread pan by lifting the handle.
- Attach the kneading blade securely onto the shaft inside the bread pan.
- Add ingredients to the bread pan in the order specified by your recipe (typically liquids first, then dry ingredients, with yeast added last on top of the dry ingredients, away from liquids and salt).
- Ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Place the bread pan back into the bread maker, pressing down firmly until it clicks into place. Close the lid.

2. Selecting Program:
- Plug in the bread maker. The display will show "1 3:00" (Basic program, 3 hours).
- Cindezela inkinobho IMENU button repeatedly to cycle through the 14 available programs until your desired program number appears on the display.
- Refer to the list on the bread maker's top panel for program descriptions (e.g., 1. BASIC, 2. FRENCH, 6. GLUTEN FREE, 11. JAM).

3. Selecting Loaf Size:
- Cindezela inkinobho ISILWANE button to toggle between 1.5 LB (0.7 kg) and 2.0 LB (0.9 kg) loaf sizes. The selected size will be indicated on the display.
4. Selecting Crust Color:
- Cindezela inkinobho UMBALA button to choose your preferred crust color: Light, Medium, or Dark. The indicator on the display will move to your selection.
5. Starting the Baking Process:
- Once all settings are configured, press the QALA/YIMA button. The bread maker will begin its cycle.

6. Removing the Baked Bread:
- When the cycle is complete, the bread maker will beep. Press and hold the QALA/YIMA button for a few seconds to stop the operation.
- Carefully open the lid. Using oven mitts, lift the bread pan by its handle and remove it from the bread maker.
- Invert the bread pan onto a wire rack or clean surface to release the bread. If the kneading blade remains in the bread, use the provided metal hook to carefully remove it.
- Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack for at least 15-20 minutes before slicing to ensure proper texture.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your bread maker.

- Ipani Lesinkwa kanye Nesitsha Sokuxova: Wash with warm, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as this can damage the non-stick coating. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Ingaphandle: Wipe the exterior of the bread maker with a soft, damp indwangu. Ungacwilisi iyunithi eyinhloko emanzini nanoma yiluphi olunye uketshezi.
