2. Umkhiqizo Uphelileview
The Everycom EC-58 is a compact and efficient 58mm direct thermal receipt printer designed for various applications. It offers high-speed printing and supports both 1D and 2D barcode printing. The printer features a USB interface and integrates with cash drawers.

3. Setha
3.1 Ukuxhuma Iphrinta
- Xhuma Ikhebula Lamandla: Insert the power cable into the power port at the rear of the printer and plug the other end into a suitable power outlet.
- Xhuma Ikhebula le-USB: Connect the square end of the USB cable to the USB port at the rear of the printer and the rectangular end to an available USB port on your computer.
- I-Connect Cash Drawer (Ongakukhetha): If using a cash drawer, connect its cable to the cash drawer port at the rear of the printer.

3.2 Ukulayisha Iphepha Elishisayo
- Vula Ikhava: Press the cover open button or lift the cover release lever to open the printer's top cover.
- Faka Umqulu Wephepha: Place the 58mm thermal paper roll into the paper compartment with the printing surface facing upwards. Ensure the roll is seated correctly on the paper spindle.
- Vala Ikhava: Pull a small amount of paper out past the cutter and close the top cover firmly until it latches.

3.3 Ukufakwa komshayeli
For Windows and Linux operating systems, install the printer drivers from the provided CD-ROM or download them from the official Everycom website. For Android, an SDK needs to be integrated into your application for printer functionality.

4.1 Ukuvula / Ukuvula
To power on the printer, ensure it is connected to a power source and press the power button located on the front panel. To power off, press the power button again.
4.2 Printing a Receipt
Once the printer is connected and drivers are installed, you can print receipts from your compatible software application. The printer will automatically feed and cut the paper after each print job, based on your software settings.

To perform a self-test, ensure the printer is off and paper is loaded. Hold down the FEED button while turning on the printer. Release the FEED button once the printer starts printing. This will print a configuration page, confirming basic printer functionality.

Regular cleaning of the thermal print head ensures optimal print quality and extends the printer's lifespan. Use a soft cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol to gently wipe the print head. Ensure the printer is powered off and cooled down before cleaning.
5.2 Replacing Paper Roll
When the paper roll is depleted or a red line appears on the printout, it indicates low paper. Follow the steps in Section 3.2 to replace the paper roll.
