2. Setha
- Ukufakwa Kwebhethri: The scale requires two (2) AAA batteries, which are included. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Open the compartment, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and ensure to remove any insulation tab if present before first use. Close the battery compartment securely.
- Ukubekwa: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it on soft or uneven surfaces, which can affect precision.

3. Iziqondiso Zokusebenza
- Vula/Vala: Press the 'ON/TARE/OFF' button to turn the scale on. The display will show '0.0' when ready for use. To turn off, press and hold the 'ON/TARE/OFF' button for a few seconds, or allow the automatic shut-off feature to activate after a period of inactivity.
- Ukukhetha amayunithi: Press the 'UNIT' button to cycle through available measurement units: pounds (lb), ounces (oz), grams (g), and fluid ounces (fl.oz). Select the desired unit before weighing.
- Umsebenzi we-Tare: The Tare function allows you to weigh multiple ingredients in the same container or to exclude the weight of a container. Place an empty container on the scale and press the 'ON/TARE/OFF' button. The display will reset to '0.0'. Add your first ingredient, record its weight, then press 'ON/TARE/OFF' again to zero the scale before adding the next ingredient.
- Izinto zokukala: Place the item(s) directly onto the glass platform or into a tared container. The weight will be displayed on the LCD screen.


4. Isondlo
- Ukuhlanza: The tempered glass platform is designed for easy cleaning. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which can damage the finish.
- Isitoreji: Store the scale in a dry place. Its compact size allows for easy storage in cabinets or drawers.
- Ukunakekela: Do not immerse the scale in water or place it in a dishwasher. Avoid dropping the scale or subjecting it to heavy impacts, as this can damage the internal components and affect accuracy.

- Ukufundwa Okungalungile: Ensure the scale is placed on a flat, stable surface. Avoid placing items that extend beyond the platform, which can cause instability. Recalibrate by turning the scale off and on.
