4. Components and Display

5. Setha

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the rear of the instrument.

6.2. Taking Measurements (IR and Ambient)

The Testo 810 simultaneously measures both surface and air temperatures.

6.3. Adjusting Emissivity (ε)

Emissivity is crucial for accurate infrared temperature measurement. Different materials have different emissivity values. The Testo 810 allows adjustment from 0.10 to 1.00.

1. With the instrument on, press the Imodi button repeatedly until the emissivity symbol (ε) appears on the display.
2. Sebenzisa i- ▲ button to adjust the emissivity value. Refer to standard emissivity tables for common materials.
3. Cindezela inkinobho Imodi button again to confirm the setting and return to measurement mode.

6.4. Hold and Min/Max Functions
