- Extreme Sharpness: The ceramic blade is exceptionally sharp. Always handle with extreme care.
- Use Handguard: Always use the included handguard to protect your fingers when slicing. Do not attempt to slice without it, especially as the food item becomes smaller.
- Ubuso obuzinzile: Ensure the mandoline is placed on a stable, flat surface or securely rested over a bowl during use.
- Isitoreji: Store the mandoline with the blade in the locked/safe position or in a protective sleeve to prevent accidental cuts. Keep out of reach of children.

- Ukuma: Place the mandoline on a stable cutting board or securely rest its corner notches over a bowl.
- Lungisa Ubukhulu: Locate the adjustable dial on the underside of the mandoline. Rotate the dial to select one of the four desired slicing thicknesses: 0.5mm, 1.3mm, 2.0mm, or 3.0mm.
- Lungisa Ukudla: Wash and peel (if necessary) the fruit or vegetable you intend to slice.

- Secure Food: Impale the food item onto the prongs of the handguard. Ensure a firm grip.
- Slicing Motion: With the handguard holding the food, slide the food item firmly and evenly across the ceramic blade in a back-and-forth motion.
- Consistent Slices: Maintain consistent pressure and motion for uniform slices.
- Near the End: As the food item becomes very small, rely entirely on the handguard to protect your fingers. Do not attempt to slice the last small piece without the handguard.
