4. Ukusetha nokufakwa
The Pioneer TS-MR2040 speakers are designed for surface mounting and easy integration into existing marine audio systems. Follow these steps for proper installation:

- Marking and Cutting: Use the provided template (found on the box) to mark the cutout area. Carefully cut the opening, ensuring a clean edge.

- Izintambo: Connect the speaker wires to the appropriate terminals. The TS-MR2040 features gold tinsel wire and gold-plated wire terminals for improved current transfer and corrosion resistance. Note that the positive and negative speaker connectors may differ in size; adjust existing connectors if necessary for a secure fit.
- Ukukhweza: Place the speaker into the cutout. Ensure the water-resistant urethane gasket is properly seated to create a seal. Secure the speaker using the eight M5x30mm stainless steel machine screws and speed clips. Do not overtighten.
- Ukuhlola Kokugcina: Once mounted, reconnect power to the audio system and test the speakers.
