High Sensitivity PIR Motion Sensor

The PIR sensor detects movement within a range of 0 to 21 meters and an induction angle of 180°. The illumination duration can be set from 1 to 10 minutes.

  2. Separate the mounting base from the light fixture.
  3. Secure the mounting base to the desired location using the provided screws.
  4. Connect the electrical wiring (wired power required, junction box not included).

  • DISTANCE: Adjust the dial to set the detection range: L (0-6m), M (0-12m), H (0-21m).
  • ISIKHATHI: Adjust the dial to set the illumination duration after activation: 1 minute, 3 minutes, or 10 minutes.

Amamodi Okukhanyisa:

  • Imodi yokuhlola: Activates day or night. Light turns on for 5 seconds upon motion detection, then turns off. No movement: remains off.
  • Security Mode (Sensor Mode): Activates only at night. Light turns on for 1/3/10 minutes upon motion detection, then turns off. No movement: remains off.
  • Imodi Yokuhlwa Kusukela Ekuseni Kuya Ekuseni: Activates only at night. Automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn.
  • Manual Mode (Priority Mode): Continuous illumination at 80% brightness for up to 6 hours.

Activating/Deactivating Priority Mode:

  • To Activate Priority Mode (Prolonged Lighting): Switch the light ON/OFF twice within 3 seconds. The light will stay on at 80% brightness for 6 hours. After 12 minutes, the brightness automatically reduces from 100% to 80%.
  • To Deactivate Priority Mode: Switch the light ON/OFF for more than 3 seconds. The light will automatically return to sensor mode after 6 hours.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Philips security light, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Ukuhlanza: Periodically wipe the light fixture with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or electrical components.
