The FULODE MIX-8 is an 8-channel professional audio mixer equipped with a 99-bit DSP digital processor, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, and 48V phantom power. It features individual 3-band equalization for each channel and a 7-band master equalization for comprehensive sound control.

4.1 Front & Rear Panel Layout

  • Iziteshi Zokufaka (1-8): Each channel features XLR/TRS combo jacks for microphone (MIC) or line-level (LINE IN) inputs.
  • I-Phantom Power (+48V): Individual phantom power switches for condenser microphones on each channel.
  • Thola Ukulungiswa: Controls input sensitivity for each channel.
  • I-3-Band EQ: High, Mid, and Low frequency adjustments for each channel.

5. Setha

The MIX-8 supports various input types:

  • Imakrofoni: Connect XLR microphones to the XLR inputs on channels 1-8. For condenser microphones, activate the +48V phantom power switch for the respective channel.
  • Amadivayisi Asezingeni Lomugqa: Connect instruments (e.g., keyboards, guitars with preamps) or other audio devices using 1/4" TRS or TS cables to the LINE IN inputs.
  • Ukudlala kwe-USB: Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port for MP3 playback.
  • I-Bluetooth: Pair your smart device via Bluetooth for wireless audio input.

5.3 Imiphumela yokuxhumana

  • Imiphumela Main: Connect the XLR or 6.5mm (1/4") MAIN OUT jacks to your amplifier, powered speakers, or recording interface.
  • Okukhipha I-headphone: Connect headphones to the PHONES jack for monitoring.

6. Iziqondiso Zokusebenza

6.1 Ukulawulwa Kwesiteshi

Each input channel (1-8) has dedicated controls:

  • INZUZO: Adjust this knob to set the input level for the connected device. Aim for a strong signal without clipping (distortion).
  • I-EQ (Phezulu, Phakathi, Phansi): Use these three knobs to adjust the treble, midrange, and bass frequencies of the individual channel.
  • I-AUX: Controls the amount of signal sent to the auxiliary output.
  • I-FX: Adjusts the amount of signal sent to the internal DSP effects processor.
  • IPAN: Positions the channel's sound in the stereo field (left to right).
  • I-MUTE: Press the MUTE button to silence the channel. The corresponding LED will illuminate when muted.
  • Isiteshi Fader: Adjusts the overall volume level of the individual channel.

6.2 DSP Effects (FX)

The MIX-8 features 99 built-in DSP effects. To select and apply effects:

  1. Use the PROGRAM knob to scroll through the 99 available effects, displayed on the digital screen.
  2. Press the PROGRAM knob to confirm your selection.
  3. Adjust the FX knob on each channel to send the desired amount of signal to the effects processor.
  4. Use the dedicated FX return fader to control the overall volume of the applied effects.

6.3 7-Band Stereo Graphic Equalizer

The master 7-band graphic equalizer allows for fine-tuning the overall output sound:

  • Adjust the faders for each frequency band (e.g., 63Hz, 150Hz, 400Hz, 1KHz, 2.5KHz, 6.4KHz, 12KHz) to boost or cut specific frequencies in the main mix.

6.4 USB/MP3 Playback and Recording

The integrated USB player supports MP3 files and can also function as a sound card for PC recording:

  • Ukudlala: Insert a USB flash drive. Use the MENU button to navigate, and the Play/Pause/Switch songs buttons for control.
  • Ukuqoshwa kwe-PC: Connect the mixer to a computer via USB. The mixer will be recognized as an audio interface, allowing you to record the mixed output directly to your computer.

6.5 Uxhumano Olungenantambo lwe-Bluetooth

  1. Press the MODE button on the USB/MP3 player section until "BT" or "Bluetooth" is displayed.
  2. On your smart device, search for "BT-5.0" or a similar device name and pair.
  3. Once connected, audio from your device will play through the mixer. Use the mixer's controls to adjust volume and effects.

Use the PHONES output and its dedicated volume control to monitor the main mix through headphones.

  • Ukuhlanza: Regularly wipe the mixer's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
