3. Setha

3.1 Ukuxhuma Iskena

  1. Shaja iskena: Before first use, connect the scanner to a USB power source using the provided USB cable. The indicator light will show charging status.
  2. Xhuma Isamukeli se-USB: Insert the 2.4G USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer (Windows, Mac, or Linux). The system will automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
  3. Vula Iskena: Press the power button on the scanner. It should automatically pair with the USB receiver. A successful connection is usually indicated by a specific sound or light pattern on the scanner.
  4. Test Scanning: Open a text editor (e.g., Notepad, Word) or any application where you want to input barcode data. Scan a test barcode. The data should appear in your application.

4. Iziqondiso Zokusebenza

4.1 Amamodi wokuskena

  • Imodi yokuqalisa engukhiye: Press the trigger button to scan each barcode. This is the default and most common mode.
  • Automatic Mode (Continuous Scan): When placed on the stand, the scanner can be configured to continuously scan barcodes presented in its field of view without pressing the trigger. Refer to the programming guide (usually a separate barcode sheet) to activate this mode.
  • Single Scan Mode: Similar to key trigger, but might have specific settings for single-shot scanning.

4.2 Izindlela Zokulayishwa Kwedatha

  • Imodi yokulayisha okuzenzekelayo: Barcode data is transmitted to the connected computer immediately after scanning. This is suitable for real-time data entry.
  • Imodi Yenkumbulo: Barcode data is stored in the scanner's internal memory. This is useful when working out of range of the receiver. Data can be uploaded later by scanning a specific "upload data" barcode from the programming guide.

  • Case Adjustment: Convert scanned data to all uppercase or all lowercase.
  • Isiqalo/Isijobelelo: Add custom characters before or after the scanned barcode data.
  • Character Masking: Hide or remove specific characters from the scanned data.
  • Ukulungiswa Kwevolumu: Control the sound level of the scanner's feedback beeps.
  • Barcode Type Identification: Enable or disable specific barcode symbologies.
  • Isikhathi Sokulala: Adjust the time before the scanner enters power-saving sleep mode.
