5. Setha

  5. Balance Tonearm:

    • Rotate the counterweight until the tonearm is balanced horizontally and floats freely.
    • Return the tonearm to its rest.
  6. Setha Amandla Okulandelela: Rotate the numbered ring on the counterweight to '0' without moving the counterweight itself. Then, rotate the entire counterweight counter-clockwise to the recommended tracking force (refer to cartridge specifications, typically 2-4 grams for DJ cartridges).
  7. Adjust Anti-skate: Set the anti-skate control to match the tracking force value.
  8. Install Dust Cover: Attach the dust cover to the hinges at the rear of the turntable.
  9. Xhuma Umsindo: Connect the RCA Line-Out cables from the turntable to the appropriate input on your ampi-lifier noma i-mixer.
  10. Xhuma Amandla: Plug the power cable into the AC IN port on the rear of the turntable, then into a wall outlet.

6. Iziqondiso Zokusebenza

  1. Vula: Flip the POWER switch on the rear panel to the 'ON' position.
  2. Khetha isivinini: Press the '33' or '45' button to select the appropriate playback speed for your record. Use the 45 RPM adapter for records with larger center holes.
  3. Irekhodi Lendawo: Carefully place a record on the slipmat.
  4. Start Platter: Press the START/STOP button to begin platter rotation.
