This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of your Microlife NC200 Non-Contact Forehead Thermometer. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it for future reference. This device is designed for measuring human body temperature from the forehead and can also measure the surface temperature of objects and ambient room temperature.

2. Ulwazi Lokuphepha
- Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in this manual.
- Keep the device away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, and dust.
- Do not drop or subject the thermometer to strong shocks.

- Consult a physician if you suspect a fever, even if the thermometer indicates a normal temperature.

4. Setha

4.2. Izilungiselelo zokuqala
After battery installation, the device may prompt for initial settings such as date, time, and temperature unit (°F/°C). Follow the on-screen instructions to configure these settings.
5. Iziqondiso Zokusebenza
5.1. Taking a Forehead Temperature Measurement
- Ensure the thermometer is in body temperature mode (indicated by a small person icon on the display). If not, press the "MODE" button to switch.
- Press the "START" button to activate the thermometer.
- Aim the blue tracking light at the center of the forehead, approximately 2 inches away.
- Move the unit closer to the forehead until the blue light stops blinking and a green light on the handle glows, indicating the correct distance.
- A long beep will sound when the measurement is complete, and the temperature will be displayed on the screen. The screen will illuminate green for normal temperature or red for fever.

5.2. Measuring Object and Ambient Temperatures
The NC200 can also measure surface temperatures of objects and the ambient room temperature:
- Press the "MODE" button to cycle through the available modes until the desired mode (object or ambient) is selected.
- For object temperature, aim the thermometer at the surface of the object (e.g., baby bottle, bathwater) from a short distance.
- For ambient temperature, simply place the thermometer in the room and allow it to stabilize.
- Press the "START" button to take the measurement.

5.3. Ukukhumbula iMemori
Kuya view previous measurements, press the "M" (Memory) button. The thermometer stores up to 30 readings with date and time stamps.
5.4. Imodi Ethule
To enable or disable the sound, refer to the specific instructions in the full user manual. This feature is useful for taking measurements without disturbing sleeping individuals.

6. Isondlo
6.1. Cleaning the Thermometer
To ensure accurate readings and hygiene, clean the thermometer after each use:
- Wipe the probe and the body of the thermometer with a soft cloth moistened with 70% isopropyl alcohol or an alcohol swab.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, thinners, or benzene for cleaning.
- Ensure no liquid enters the interior of the device.
- Allow the thermometer to air dry completely before storing.
6.2. Isitoreji
Store the thermometer in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity. Keep the sensor protection cover on when not in use.
6.3. Ukushintshwa Kwebhethri
When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace both AAA batteries with new ones. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1.
