1. Assemble the Stand
Unfold the D24001 stand and ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged. Place the stand on a firm, level surface.
2. Mount the Saw to the Stand
Carefully lift the D36000 saw unit and align it with the mounting points on the stand. Secure the saw to the stand using the provided hardware. Ensure the saw is stable and does not wobble.

3. Install Water Trays and Pump
Attach the water pan, side water trays, and rear water trays to the saw unit. Ensure they are properly seated to prevent leaks. Place the submersible pump into the water pan and connect its hose to the saw's water delivery system.

4. Install Blade
Ensure the saw is unplugged. Use the blade wrench to loosen the arbor nut. Install the DW4764 Porcelain Tile Blade, ensuring the rotation direction matches the arrow on the saw. Tighten the arbor nut securely.
5. Fill Water Reservoir
Fill the water pan with clean water until the submersible pump is fully submerged and the water level is adequate for operation. Regularly check and refill the water during use.

1. Adjusting for Cuts
- I-Rip Cuts: For straight cuts along the length of the tile, use the rip fence. The saw offers a 37-inch rip cut capacity, extendable to 41 inches with plunge cuts. The 18-inch cutting clearance to the left of the blade allows for ripping 36x36 inch tiles in half.

- Place the tile firmly against the rip fence or miter guide on the cutting cart.
- Ensure the water pump is running and water is flowing to the blade.
- Turn on the saw. Allow the blade to reach full speed before beginning the cut.
- Slowly and steadily push the cutting cart and tile through the blade. Do not force the cut.
- Maintain a firm grip on the tile throughout the cutting process.
- Once the cut is complete, turn off the saw and wait for the blade to stop before removing the tile.
