4. Setha

Follow these steps to set up your Nespresso CitiZ machine for the first time:

  1. Khipha: Carefully remove the machine and all components from the packaging.
  2. Isikhundla: Place the machine on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is enough space around the machine for proper ventilation and access to the water tank.
  3. I-Rinse Water Tank: Remove the water tank from the back of the machine. Rinse it thoroughly with fresh drinking water.

5.1 Making Espresso or Lungo

  1. Vula: Press either the Espresso or Lungo button to turn on the machine. The buttons will blink while the machine heats up (approximately 25 seconds) and become steady when ready.

5.2 Programming Coffee Volume

You can customize the volume for both Espresso and Lungo buttons:

  1. Ensure Ready: Turn on the machine and wait for the buttons to stop blinking.
