2. Ulwazi Lokuphepha
- Ukuphatha Ukushisa: High-power COB LEDs generate heat. A suitable heat sink system is mandatory to maintain the operating temperature below 60°C (140°F). Failure to do so will significantly reduce the LED's lifespan and may cause damage.
- Ukunikezwa kwamandla kagesi: Always use a constant current LED driver (e.g., 300mA) with these high-power COB LEDs. Using an incorrect power supply can damage the LED.
- I-polarity: Observe the correct polarity (+ anode, - cathode) when connecting the LED. Incorrect connection will prevent the LED from lighting up and may cause damage. Refer to the markings on the LED chip.
- Ukuphepha Kagesi: Ensure all electrical connections are secure and insulated to prevent short circuits. Disconnect power before making any connections or adjustments.
- Ukuvikelwa Kwamehlo: Do not stare directly into the illuminated LED. The intense light can cause eye strain or damage.
- Ukuphatha: Handle LED chips with care to avoid physical damage to the chip or its delicate gold wires.

4. Ukusetha nokufakwa
- Lungiselela Indawo Yokusebenza: Qinisekisa ukuthi indawo yakho yokusebenza ihlanzekile, inokukhanya okuhle, futhi ayinawo ugesi ongashintshi.
- Khomba Izingxenye:
- I-chip ye-LED: The Chanzon 1W Warm White LED chip.
- Constant Current LED Driver: A 300mA constant current LED driver is recommended for optimal performance and longevity.
- Usinki oshisayo: A heat sink is essential to dissipate heat and maintain the LED's operating temperature below 60°C (140°F).
- Thermal Paste/Adhesive: For efficient heat transfer between the LED and the heat sink.
- Soldering Equipment: Soldering iron, solder, and flux for electrical connections.
- Apply Thermal Management: Apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste or adhesive to the back of the LED chip. Securely attach the LED chip to a suitable heat sink. Ensure good contact for efficient heat dissipation.
- Khomba i-Polarity: Locate the positive (+) and negative (-) markings on the LED chip. The side with the "-" mark is the cathode, and the other side is the anode.

Image: Diagram showing the internal construction of the 1W LED chip, highlighting the copper holder, double gold wires, and the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals for correct connection.
- Izixhumanisi ze-Solder: Carefully solder the positive lead from your constant current LED driver to the anode (+) of the LED chip, and the negative lead to the cathode (-) of the LED chip. Ensure strong, clean solder joints.
- Ukuxhumeka Kokuvikela Ukushisa: Insulate all exposed electrical connections using heat shrink tubing or electrical tape to prevent short circuits.
- Ukuhlola Kokugcina: Before applying power, double-check all connections for correct polarity and secure attachment.
5. Iziqondiso Zokusebenza
Once the Chanzon 1W Warm White LED Chip is correctly installed with a constant current driver and heat sink, it is ready for operation.
- Vula: Connect the constant current LED driver to its appropriate power source. The LED chip should illuminate immediately.
- Observe Light Output: The LED will emit a warm white light with a color temperature between 3000K and 3500K.

Image: The Chanzon 1W LED chip illuminated, demonstrating its warm white light output (3000K-3500K).
- Gada izinga lokushisa: Periodically check the temperature of the heat sink. It should remain below 60°C (140°F) during continuous operation. If the temperature exceeds this, improve ventilation or use a larger heat sink.
- Cisha ugesi: Disconnect the power source from the LED driver to turn off the LED.
6. Isondlo
The Chanzon 1W Warm White LED Chips are designed for long-term, maintenance-free operation under proper conditions. However, periodic checks can ensure optimal performance.
- Inhlanzeko: Keep the LED chip and heat sink free from dust and debris. Dust accumulation can hinder heat dissipation and reduce light output. Use a soft, dry cloth or compressed air for cleaning.
- Ubuqotho bokuxhumana: Periodically inspect all electrical connections for any signs of corrosion, loosening, or damage. Re-solder or secure connections as needed.
- Heat Sink Performance: Ensure the heat sink remains unobstructed and provides adequate cooling. If the LED is operating in an enclosed space, ensure proper ventilation.
- Ukuhlola Komshayeli: If the LED performance degrades, check the constant current LED driver for proper output voltage namanje.
