1. SR 420 Stationary Receiver Setup
- Ukuma: Place the receiver on a stable, flat surface, away from large metal objects or other wireless devices that may cause interference.
- Xhuma ama-Antenna: Screw the two detachable antennas onto the ANTENNA A and ANTENNA B connectors on the rear of the SR 420 receiver. Ensure they are securely tightened and positioned for optimal reception.
- Xhuma ukuphuma komsindo: Connect the AUDIO OUT (XLR balanced or 1/4" unbalanced) of the receiver to the input of your mixer or PA system using an appropriate audio cable.
- Xhuma Amandla: Plug the provided power supply into the DC IN 12V 500mA jack on the receiver and then into a suitable power outlet. Do not power on yet.

2. PT 420 Body-Pack Transmitter Setup
- Faka ibhethri: Open the battery compartment of the PT 420 body-pack transmitter. Insert the supplied AA battery, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
- Connect Lavalier Microphone: Plug the C417 L lavalier microphone into the mini-XLR input on the top of the PT 420 body-pack transmitter. Ensure it clicks into place.
- Secure Transmitter: Attach the body-pack transmitter to your belt or clothing using the integrated clip. Position the lavalier microphone approximately 6-12 inches from your mouth for optimal sound capture.

- Power On Transmitter: Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the PT 420 body-pack transmitter until the indicator light illuminates.

- Lungisa Ivolumu: Speak into the lavalier microphone at your normal speaking volume. Adjust the VOLUME knob on the SR 420 receiver to achieve the desired audio level without distortion. The CLIP indicator should only flash briefly on peaks, not stay lit.
- I-Pilot Tone: The WMS420 system utilizes a pilot tone to ensure reliable operation and prevent interference. This feature automatically mutes the receiver's audio output if the transmitter is turned off or goes out of range, preventing unwanted noise.
- Cisha ugesi: To power off, press the ON/OFF button on both the transmitter and receiver.
