3. Setha

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the indicator.
  2. Carefully remove the cover using an appropriate tool.
  3. Insert one SR44 battery (part number 938882) with the correct polarity (+/-).

The typical battery life is approximately 7000 hours under normal use.

3.2 Ukukhweza Inkomba

The indicator features an 8mm stem diameter for mounting. Secure the indicator firmly into a suitable measuring stand or fixture using the 8mm stem. The measuring thread is M2.5 X 0.45.

4.2 Setting Origin / Zero

Wipe the indicator body with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a cloth lightly dampened with a mild detergent can be used. Avoid using harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners. The IP66 rating provides protection against dust and strong jets of water, but direct immersion is not recommended.

When the battery indicator appears on the LCD, replace the SR44 battery as described in Section 3.1. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.

5.3 Isitoreji

Store the indicator in a clean, dry environment, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. Ensure the measuring spindle is clean and free from debris before storage.
