Setha
1. Ukufakwa kwebhethri
For the Outdoor Sensor (TX37-IT):
- Vula ikhava yengxenye yebhethri ngemuva kwenzwa yangaphandle.
- Insert 2 x AA Mignon LR06 batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Vala ikhava yengxenye yebhethri ngokuphephile.
For the Base Station (WS 9140-IT):
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the base station.
- Insert 2 x AA Mignon LR06 batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Vala ikhava yengxenye yebhethri ngokuphephile.
Note: Always insert batteries into the outdoor sensor first, then into the base station to ensure proper synchronization.
2. Ukubekwa kwenzwa
Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct sunlight and rain, to ensure accurate temperature readings. The maximum transmission distance is 100 meters in open air. Avoid placing it near large metal objects or electrical appliances that may interfere with the signal.
3. Initial Synchronization (DCF-77 Radio Clock)
After battery installation, the base station will automatically begin searching for the DCF-77 radio signal. This process may take several minutes. Once the signal is received, the time will be set automatically. A radio tower icon will appear on the display, indicating successful synchronization.
4. Manual Time Setting (Optional)
If the radio signal is not available or if you prefer to set the time manually:
- Cindezela bese ubamba i SET inkinobho kuze kukhanye amadijithi ehora.
- Sebenzisa i- '+' or '-' izinkinobho ukulungisa ihora.
- Cindezela SET futhi ukuqinisekisa nokushintshela ekusethweni kwemizuzu.
- Sebenzisa '+' or '-' ukulungisa imizuzu.
- Cindezela SET to confirm and exit manual time setting.
5. Ukulungiswa Kwendawo Yesikhathi
To adjust for different time zones (± 12 hours):
- Kwimodi yesibonisi yesikhathi esijwayelekile, cindezela bese ubamba i SET inkinobho kuze kukhanye amadijithi ehora.
- Cindezela SET repeatedly until the time zone offset (e.g., '00') flashes.
- Sebenzisa i- '+' or '-' buttons to adjust the time zone offset.
- Cindezela SET ukuze uqinisekise futhi uphume.
Imiyalelo yokusebenza
1. Reading Temperature
The current indoor and outdoor temperatures are continuously displayed on the base station's screen.
2. Minimum/Maximum Temperature Recording
The station automatically records the minimum and maximum indoor and outdoor temperatures since the last reset.
- Cindezela inkinobho MIN/MAX RESET button once to display the maximum recorded temperatures.
- Cindezela inkinobho MIN/MAX RESET button a second time to display the minimum recorded temperatures.
- Cindezela bese ubamba i MIN/MAX RESET button to clear the recorded minimum and maximum values. The display will show the current temperatures, and new min/max values will begin recording.
3. Alarm Setting and Snooze Function
Isetha i-alamu:
- Cindezela inkinobho I-ALARM button once to display the alarm time.
- Cindezela bese ubamba i I-ALARM inkinobho kuze kube yilapho izinombolo zehora le-alamu zikhanya.
- Sebenzisa i- '+' or '-' izinkinobho zokulungisa ihora le-alamu.
- Cindezela I-ALARM again to confirm and move to alarm minute setting.
- Sebenzisa '+' or '-' ukulungisa amaminithi e-alamu.
- Cindezela I-ALARM ukuze uqinisekise futhi uphume ukulungiselelwa kwe-alamu.
Ivula/Yenza I-alamu ingasebenzi:
- Kwimodi yesibonisi yesikhathi esijwayelekile, cindezela inkinobho I-ALARM button repeatedly to toggle the alarm ON or OFF. An alarm icon will appear on the display when the alarm is active.
Umsebenzi wokusnuza:
- When the alarm sounds, press any button (except I-ALARM) to activate the snooze function. The alarm will sound again after approximately 5 minutes.
- Ukumisa i-alamu ngokuphelele, cindezela inkinobho I-ALARM button when it is sounding.
4. Inkomba Yebhethri Eliphansi
A low battery icon will appear on the display when the batteries in either the base station or the outdoor sensor need to be replaced. Replace all batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation and accurate readings.
Isondlo
1. Ukushintshwa Kwebhethri
When the low battery indicator appears, replace the batteries in both the base station and the outdoor sensor. Use 2 x AA Mignon LR06 batteries for each unit. Ensure correct polarity during installation.
2. Ukuhlanza
Sula amayunithi ngomshini othambile, damp indwangu. Ungasebenzisi izihlanzi ezihudulayo noma izinyibilikisi, njengoba lokhu kungalimaza isibonisi nomaasing. Ensure the units are dry before re-inserting batteries or operating.
Ukuxazulula inkinga
| Inkinga | Imbangela Engenzeka | Isixazululo |
|---|---|---|
| No outdoor temperature display or '---' | No signal from outdoor sensor; Batteries in sensor are low or incorrectly inserted; Sensor too far from base station or obstructed. | Check sensor batteries and polarity. Move sensor closer to base station. Avoid obstructions like thick walls or metal objects. Re-synchronize by removing and re-inserting batteries in both units (sensor first). |
| Isibonisi sesikhathi esingalungile | DCF-77 signal not received; Incorrect time zone setting. | Ensure base station is placed away from electronic interference. Allow time for automatic synchronization. Manually set time or adjust time zone if necessary. |
| Isibonisi sifiphele noma asinalutho | Low batteries in base station. | Replace batteries in the base station. |
| I-alamu ayizwakali | Alarm is not activated; Alarm time is incorrectly set. | Ensure the alarm icon is visible on the display. Verify the alarm time setting. |
